The First Thing You Should Do to Practice Kemetic Spirituality
There is a big misconception that is circulating that to practice Kemetic spirituality all you need to do is read a lot of books on the Kemetic religion, Kemetic metaphysics, and Kemetic science. In truth, it is actually the direct opposite. What I mean is that the more you read, the less spiritual you are becoming.
Part of the reason there is so much confusion about the Kemetic spirituality is because most people do not have knowledge of self, and do not understand the nature of their being. We have to understand that we are spiritual beings (Higher Spirit/Superconscious/god and goddess self), with a soul (Conscious), having a physical (lower spirit/subconscious/ego-self) experience.
Everything that we have learned and will continue to learn will ultimately be retained in the subconscious part of our being. This means that the more books you read, the more information you acquire, which is stored in your subconscious but only boosts your ego. As I have mentioned before, prior to my body becoming ill years ago, I read and studied beaucoup number of books but I felt farther away from the Divine.
I remember I could get into a heavy debate and shame people with all that I knew, but all of that Kemetic metaphysics and all of the Kemetic science did not improve my life. In fact, I don’t know anyone who was all knowledgeable about “the science” living a prosperous life.
Why? Because it was not being applied.
As I mentioned in Maa Aankh, I did not become spiritual until my body became ill.
You see, when I was laying on the gurney in the hospital and hearing suffering people in the intensive care unit begging and moaning for Death to ease their suffering. I realized with no books in my hands, and no access to a computer, that the universe is mental, which means when it comes to the end. The only thing we will have is our mind/spirit. This means it all boils down to what you know that works.
For instance, knowing that Lazarus closely resembles (if not the same) Hru raising El-Azar-Us or El-Osiris, which is also closely tied to a gnostic sarcophagus that depicts a beardless Jesus raising a mummified man name El-Azar-Us, and. This is all closely tied to the winter solstice, which means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING if you can’t use the myth to heal your body or raise/bring prosperity to your life after a period of dismal and despair, which is symbolized as the dead Lazarus, hence metaphysical thinking.
So, don’t be fooled into thinking that Kemetic spirituality is learning about all of the concepts taken from the Kemetic religion and added to Christianity. Kemetic Spirituality is about undoing yourself. Therefore, the first thing you need to do to practice Kemetic spirituality is to listen to your Higher Self.
